“- Is it obligatory to fight against those who do not accept the truth?”
“Dear brother/sister,”
“- In Islam / in the Quran, the concept of jihad mainly implies the effort to convey the truths of religion and make an effort for it. However, in general terms, it is expressed more with the term kıtal. However, the term jihad has also been used along with the term kıtal to refer to the effort and struggle in war. Therefore, it is incorrect to interpret every order of jihad as a war. In fact, in the Surah Furqan revealed in Mecca, the term dekavram was used and the order of jihad was given, which shows that it does not refer to war. The translation of the relevant verse is as follows: “
“- In Islam, material jihad is not the main one, but the secondary one. It is a defense that is carried out due to the pressure of circumstances. The true jihad is spiritual. As mentioned in the Surah of Furkan, the first command of jihad given in Mecca was not material, but a spiritual jihad carried out with the mind, thought, and knowledge. Therefore, today all kinds of peace agreements can be made for the benefit of Islamic countries. And it is not permissible to break these agreements without necessity. As established in the books of Islamic law, the Holy Quran says the following:”
“According to these divine and similar instructions, Muslims have fulfilled their promises and have not been part of breaking the agreement.”
