“The last sacred book of Allah, the Quran, which is the divine word for all humanity, was revealed over twenty-three years, verse by verse and chapter by chapter.”
“Nuestro Profeta (que la paz y las bendiciones sean con él) leía los versículos y capítulos revelados a sus compañeros cercanos, quienes los memorizaban y algunos también los escribían. Además, también había escribas de la revelación del Profeta, quienes estaban encargados de escribir específicamente los versículos y capítulos revelados.”
“La ubicación de los versículos y suras, así como su orden en el Corán, fue revelada al Profeta (PBUH) a través del arcángel Gabriel (AS), quien lo describió a los escribas de la revelación y les ordenó escribirlo. De esta manera, durante la vida del Profeta, todo el Corán fue escrito y se determinó dónde se ubicaría cada parte. Además, cada Ramadán, el arcángel Gabriel (AS) venía y leía nuevamente al Profeta todas las revelaciones recibidas hasta ese día.”
Durante the last Ramadan before the passing of our Prophet (pbuh), the Angel Gabriel (pbuh) came again, but this time he recited the Quran twice with our Prophet (pbuh). The first time, the Angel Gabriel recited and the Prophet listened; the second time, the Prophet recited and the Angel Gabriel listened. This is how the Quran took its final form.
“After the death of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), it was necessary for the divine text of the Quran, which is the heavenly guidance, to be compiled in a way that left no doubt in each of its words, through the consensus of the community, so that no one could object to it until the Day of Judgment.”

“Zeyd, despite having a good memory himself, followed a very meticulous and scientific method when searching for two written witnesses who had recited each verse. He did not settle for other memorizers like himself. However, in the case of the last two verses of the Repentance Surah, despite his research, he could not find two written witnesses and had to resort to Abu Huzayma’s written copy.”
