La mayoría de los Fakih (jurisconsultos), basándose en el versículo, han establecido que aquellos que no hayan ayunado con o sin excusa y que hayan caído en su lecho de muerte sin haber compensado sus ayunos, deben hacerlo por sus deudas de ayuno.
