Esto se aplica a mujeres jóvenes o mayores, que hayan tenido su menstruación o no, y hayan tenido o no una vida matrimonial.”

Sin embargo, according to the order of the Qur’an, the fact that the abrogated verse comes before the abrogating verse makes it difficult to accept this opinion. Although it has been said that in terms of revelation, the first verse is after the second, this matter is difficult to explain with evidence. Therefore, it is more appropriate not to mention abrogation between these two verses.
“The most reasonable explanation for this must be the following: This second verse recommends that men who are seemingly approaching death should not be taken out of their homes for a year and that their wives should be provided for. This recommendation is not mandatory, but recommended.”
