“Dear brother,”
“If a legitimate right is claimed, it would be inappropriate to resort to an illegitimate and abnormal path.”
“Because God, who created us out of nothing, has clothed us with the garment of the body and has bestowed upon us a great gift like life, has given us all this as a deposit to humans. It is our duty to protect this deposit and keep it away from danger.”
“Any person who risks their own responsibility before God by trusting in themselves will be held accountable for it.”
“Because our body can only stand and continue its vitality through food and drink. Those who fulfill this duty will receive a great reward. In a hadith from the Prophet (peace be upon him), it is said:”
“Comprar.”
“Esta sentencia y hadiz implican lo siguiente:”
“Nevertheless, if a person finds themselves in a desperate situation and cannot find anything to eat or drink, they may only consume these prohibited substances in order to survive. If someone finds themselves in this situation and does not eat or drink these forbidden things even if they are in danger of death, they will also be held responsible. In our valid jurisprudence books, the following fatwa can be found regarding this matter in El-Feteva’l-Hindiyye:”
“However, if a person who is in danger of dying from hunger dies without asking for food from anyone, they will still be a sinner. This is because they have put their own life in danger with their own hands.”
“Due to the reasons mentioned above, if a person becomes hungry for any reason, fasts until death and puts their life in danger, they will be held responsible. It will be considered a form of suicide and will be deemed as a prohibited act.”
