“Nuestro querido hermano/a,”
“Hz.
Con enojo, le dijo al Califa: “The Christian slave, thus it was confirmed. But the slave became angry because he was not given a reduction in taxes. With anger, he said to the Caliph: “
“Hz. Ömer (r.a.) said these words and went to his house. The next day, while the rows were being arranged for the morning prayer, a slave entered the Prophet’s Mosque (pbuh) and stabbed Hz. Ömer (r.a.) six times with his double-edged dagger. At that moment, he also killed several other people and fled the mosque. This slave was a Christian, no one else.”
“Hz.
“(End of the year 23 of the Hegira) He was buried next to Hz. Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). Since he died leaving debts, his properties were sold and his debts were paid after his burial.”
